空手道
today's 1 thing about Japan you thought you knew:
karate (空手) is not the original name of the famous sport... the original name is 唐手 or Tang-hand, or by extension, Chinese Hand (Tang being the Tang dynasty of China)... The name was changed to Karate to avoid confusion... =)
