finally i understand...

i dunno why george doesn't refer to her by name, but slow old me, finally understand why she got a photolog to go along with her main blog liao...

ok she did mention that the reason why she had the site was "because blogger only allows one picture per post entry." well i guess i finally get it that she actually meant hello! only allowing one picture per post.

or maybe she didn't mean that.

whatever...

pt is, i am kinda frustrated in the past when i use hello to post pictures... cos only 1 pic per post... then after i consolidate, i have to delete every one of them.... cursing the stupidity of it all...

so now... no need to curse liao... cos this is what this new photolog, aptly titled "Winz's Photo Space", is for.... hehe...

there's nothing there for now... but from now on, whatever photos here, they will be appearing there as well... but no biggie lah.. cos the content is still gonna be here ;)

prison vs work

for some reasons that i can't remember, over lunch, a fren of mine, EH, talked about wanting to become a monk so that he can have free food and lodging...

of cos some smart alecks said that for the 2 said reasons, being in prison also can...

ha then yesterday another fren of mine, JR, sent an email about the differences between prison and work... kinda funny... and sad... for working class ppl ;p

some of you may have seen this before, but heck, here it is.

Prison vs Work

Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up, this should make things a little bit clearer.

IN PRISON.......you spend the majority of your time in an 10X10 cell.
AT WORK.........you spend the majority of your time in an 8X8 cubicle.

IN PRISON.......you get three meals a day.
AT WORK.........you get a break for one meal and you have to pay for it.

IN PRISON.......you get time off for good behavior.
AT WORK.........you get more work for good behavior.

IN PRISON.......the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
AT WORK.........you must often carry a security card and open all the doors for yourself.

IN PRISON.......you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK.........you could get fired for watching TV and playing games.

IN PRISON.......you get your own toilet.
AT WORK.........you have to share the toilet with some people who pee on the seat.

IN PRISON.......they allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK.........you aren't even supposed to speak to your family.

IN PRISON.......all expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required.
AT WORK.........you get to pay all your expenses to go to work, and they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.

IN PRISON.......you spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out.
AT WORK ........you spend most of your time wanting to get out and go inside bars.

IN PRISON ......you must deal with sadistic wardens.
AT WORK.........they are called managers.

LOL

random pictures...

fixed my internet connection finally, didn't have the time (or rather didn't have motivation) to sort photos today, so holding it off first...

however, since i promised, here are some random previews ;)

went with Tsu Tsen to the famed tokyo blue note back on April 5th... to watch...

that's right, the famed Jane Monheit, one of my personal favourites... ;)

tokyo blue note is located at omotesandou 表参道, where the fendi shop that my sis and i went to to get her fendi bag salvaged.

anyway, this is quite a cool place, though i must say i dun really like the acoustics... ironic since it is supposed to be a restaurant/bar for live music in the first place.

here's a shot of me at the lobby.

blur shot caused by unsteady hands! guess who? ;p

the reception was at B1, and the hall itself was at B2! talk about space-saving...

didn't take the interior and also any concert shots cos i thot that photography wasn't allowed....

but i did manage to get a shot and autograph of my jazz idol, Ms Jane Monheit though....

yup, for those who know her and have seen her pics before... she put on quite a lot of weight... was damn surprised when i saw her make her appearance.... but maybe cos of the wedding she just had (baby? dunno)...

hmm.... one thing i miss is the sakuras... and i realised i haven't posted any pictures of sakura on my blog... so here's 1 ;)

the road to perdition kawasaki station...

and here's a photo of chin heng, who took the walk with me that day, taking sakura photos together...

posted his photo cos today is his birthday!!!

HAPPY 29TH BIRTHDAY, CHIN HENG!!!

me getting cooked these days...

on a side note, my internet connection gone-f**k yesterday night yet again... dunno why, cos this time, the rest of the guys' internet are ok... hmmm... if today again like dat, going to complain and maybe cancel my internet subscription... see how...

maybe one of these pillows can cure my chronic neckache ;p

introducing...

*it reads Makura Sharanpowan, sounds coincidentally like Maria Sharapova doesn't it?

it is a line of pillows for those japanese hentais (変態) who are into Sharapova. Did I mention how japanese (male and female alike) are crazy over Sharapova? Well, if not, I just did ;)

let's take a look at the design shall we?

wow... it comes in 3 different colours! too bad it didn't come with the latest line of nike apparel she is donning in wimbledon right now...

other than being a comfy pillow the japanese can lay their heads on, there's still more to offer for the japs...

the pertness is much like the *ahem* real thing...

japanese groper at his best...

wait a minute... dun tell me...

arrghhh!!! the thing has tits!!!!!

ok, if this is not enough, they have matching lap pillows as well... (i wonder why they dun make the whole figure... might as well)

they have to come in the same 3 colours as well, shouldn't they?

ok i think the boobie pillow looks more comfy...

wait.. it doesn't stop here...

argghhhh!!! those perverts!!!

interested pervs parties, can buy it from this website.

weekend photos!!

shall do this in chronological order... *phew* that was a lot of photos...

on saturday, i reached the yokohama stadium, off kannai (関内) station at 840 to do fatigue first... then afterwhich the cheerleaders took the stage to have a few dry runs to mark their positions...

female cheerleaders' dry run

males' turn now

we fast forward to the game... during the game, we usually play (and the cheerleaders dance) only during toshiba's turn to bat and the transitional period...

opponent's turn to bat (see background) hence the cheerleaders are only leading the spectators to cheer for the fielding guys....

notice the empty stadium, well it was an easy game, expected to win kind, so not much ppl came for this saturday game...

kind of like this photo ;)

they have cue boards when leading the spectators to cheer...

from left: me, damien, and calvin.

the above and fangyi (who came late and thus wasn't in the picture) came for the game. they were seated quite high up (the next photo was taken from the seats, so you can see how far they were). they were there mainly to escape the crowd (so that they can go topless and suntan) as well as to escape from cheering ;p heard from them the cheerleaders were so enthu that a few of them came all the way up to where they were to encourage them to cheer along... wow... anyway the male cheerleaders i know they earn 7000 yen (110 SGD) for a days work (part-time, 3 hours or so)... i also wanna work as cheerleader man!

view from top stands

cheer gals applying sun block ;p

it was so hot and the sun was so strong, md-way through the game, the gals were applying new coat of sun block... hehe...

anyway, fast forward to end of game... were we had a debrief session...

waiting for contingent master to come while standing in ranks, and posing for my camera ;)

check out the gal in centre in perfect sedia position... damn pro siah...

thus concludes the first day of baseball... afterwhich, the bunch of us, plus james, went to ikebukuro to shop and to expend my said free tics to the aquarium there...

and we were lucky to feast our eyes on the beauties on catwalk... already i warn the photos were not very good cos got security, and we were too high up.... but you get the idea from the glimpses below...

need i say more? ;p~~

the 2 gals in the 2nd pic above (in purple bikinis) are the crowd fav of course.... why? they were the most busty ones... with each step there's errr... some things wobbling... they even brought my me to attention ;p

but anyway at this point in time, male readers can leave liao... cos no more interesting bits left ;p

carry on to the aquarium...

sunshine becos it is in sunshine city (a famed ikebukuro shopping complex)

this purple/pink fish looks just so graceful...

this is called a long neck something turtle... the neck really frightfully long man... you see it trying to bite his own shell here!

look! it's head can reach even behind it's hind legs! amazing.... 見たことない...

that's that for fishes... there's a small zoo there too, so we went in and was pleasently surprised to find some animals uncaged...

so cute!! so cartoony!! this is a lemur btw...

ooo... the penguin army... my friends and allies*

---==---

sunday morning, same time, same place...

got photos of the prep session...

it reads Ripobitako D, some energy drink like redbull (tasted like redbull too)

yaammmmm seng!

my fellow saxophonist bottoms up...

i asked a silly question to one guy cheerleader who can speak almost perfect english (he's from keio university). i asked him what this drinking session was for. yeah stupid question. but he answered me anyway. he said we all drink this together after our prep talk so that we will all have energy to cheer for the team later... kinda like a cheer culture over in japan... almost every cheer teams here does this...

the guy in the centre holding the toshiba colours, that's yuki, the guy who can speak good english... we play the toshiba anthem during and after the game, and that's when this colour comes to play...

look sunday more ppl! there are banners for each of the baseball players (like what you see in slam dunk...)

can you spot Tsu Tsen? hehe...

every roller coaster ride, no matter how enjoyable or boring, has it's end... and for this photo blog, here is it...

yokohama curry museum, the one that conned 1000 yen out of me ;p

*one of my nicknames back in sec/jc/uni days was penguin... yeah.. frens say i walk like penguin. now some say i even look like one... #$&%(#
