dreams to reality...
since young, i've always wanted a flying car, like in jetsons (rem the cartoon from waaaay back then?), or like in star wars...
i guess, i wasnt the only one with that dream (like, duh).

well, one company, namely moller international, decided to make this dream a reality, and embarked on this skycar project some many years back, like err since 1960s.

and this lucky blog-journalist from gadgeteer managed to actually sit in one of the prototypes! (but i guess he didnt fly).

well, the thing is, the skycar prototype has successfully completed hovering flights, and the first manned, untethered flight is planned for Fall 2005 (ie. sometime soon!).. ie. it can macham fly like aeroplane (if successful lah), and can reach speeds of up to 350+ miles per hour..
shen right!!
and also, they already put the prototype on sale, for a princely sum of US$3.5 million. further units will be manufactured and put on sale within the next 3 years.
anyone with millions to spare?
