w...w...arm biz?

throughout summer, we were 'tortured' by the cool biz campaign, where temperatures indoors were set to a minimum of 28 degrees celcius... yeah, it was hot, stuffy, and hard to concentrate on your work when it's like that (not excuse ok..)

well, sure enough, the campaign paid huge dividends, as it managed to "cut demand by about 210 million kilowatt-hours, equal to 79,000 tons of Co2 in June, July and August" (bloomberg).

so now what?

following the success of cool biz (in expense of us poor civilians), the gov is now driving Warm Biz... and temperatures will be set to a maximum of 20 degrees celcius. sure, this temperature is rather comfortable when you are back in hot stuffy singapore, but when you come into office from outdoors which is 4 degrees, i think you will appreciate something warmer.

ah well, not that we have a choice. the thing the gov pushed to cope with cool biz was to wear light clothings, as opposed to the traditional suits and ties in office. similarly, they are now proposing that we wear more clothings inside office to keep ourselves warm. that of course will translate to increase in sales of the retailers.

therein lies the purpose of the bra picture above... not just for eye candy leh ;p (although i think they can easily find a better model). triumph came out with their new line of bras in line with the campaign... the bra has heat packs as paddings, so that the womanfolk can keep their love pillows warm... cool warm eh?

that's not all... i guess these bras are gonna keep a lot of guys' hands warm as well :)
